Book Signing & the “Night Walker and Me” photo contest

Hi everyone –

Thanks so much for the good wishes for my first book signing! It was a wonderful day, and I’m happy (and relieved) to let you know I was not the only person to show up! LOL

We actually had about 25 people and sold about 20 books! YAY! I got through my author chat before the signing and only got choked up twice… So glad I didn’t cry! LOL It was a really emotional day, but great, super happy emotions! J

 

The crew at Mysterious Galaxy book store was FABULOUS!!!  I even got an “author mug”!!!  If you’ve never been there, you should definitely check them out and support an awesome independent bookstore! 🙂

I wanted to share a few pictures with you too…



I decided I really like signing books! LOL


And this was the best part…

There’s Night Walker on the bookstore shelf, right between Sherrilyn Kenyon and Caitlin Kittredge!!!

For the month of August I’ve been hosting a “Night Walker and Me” photo contest. The winners will receive a poster of the “AB”tacular Night Walker book cover! J

The contest has been a blast with entries from all over the world… So far Night Walker has been in the USA, Australia, Canada, and I’ve heard rumors that I’m getting a picture in from Portugal!!! *boggle*

      Awww thanks Kristine!!! 🙂 It was an emotional day for me too!!! LOL

      SO to make it a success, I made sure my local RWA chapter knew. Many of them turned out for the signing. Also my family and their friends showed up. THe bookstore also posted the signing in the paper and online. I made sure to tweet about it and post it on facebook and my blog too…

      Between all those things people showed up! YAY!!! It was stressful, but SUPER cool!!! Definitely worth holding the signing…
